What is a Notary Public and What does a Notary Public do?

A Notary Public is a person of high integrity.  A Notary Public serves the community and the general public as an impartial witness in the signing of documents or in administering oaths. A Notary Public is an individual who has been educated in the laws that affect a Notary Public, passed the state exam and who has received a “Commission, Title and the Responsibilities” by state government.
